The Sisters

Dad's sisters (Helen, Margie & Janet) are in town! Janet & Mike flew in from the East Coast this afternoon. Mark & Len came up as well. The guest book is filling up as the weekend approaches. Pastor Stan Gleason from KC and the Tracy's from STL stopped by today. At one point there were so many people in the waiting room they were visiting in shifts!

Dad was able to gently shower this afternoon between "meet-n-greets" (amazing what a little warm water will do for you). Mom says he's looking better and his color is returning.

  4. Vernon,
So good to see you smile. Those girls are going to keep you smiling too. Just want you to know that you are in my prayers and I can already see by the postings that the prayer circle is growing and growing, so we will add North Carolina to that prayer circle as well.

  5. Vernon, we will be keeping you and your family in prayer and watching your blog spot too, thanks to Mark McClintock for making it available. Unfortunately I don't follow directions very well and will have to send this as an "anonymous person!"

  6. Vernon,
I will add you to my prayer list. I pray for the sick and for family & friends nightly and sometimes during the day. I have felt this calling over the past 6 to 8 months due to my own physical condition that I have been going through. I see your sisters have arrived and I know you are in good hands, physically & spiritually. Ask Helen to tell you my unbelievable story and God's unbelievable delivery of answering my prayers. I will be sending you two CD's for you to listen to as you recover and go through cancer treatments. I don't know why we have to go through these trials, but one thing I do know is "God will see you through".

  7. Brother McGarvey,
Sister Dixie emailed us about your present situation.
On Sunday we will take a special time for the new local church in Bangkok to pray and next week we will be going to Cambodia and bring them into intercessory prayer for you. We will also pray for your family.

  8. Vernon,
Dennis and Lana just told me today and gave me this Blog address. Your looking good for an "Old FART". Haven't seen you for a while and a long time in between. The power of prayer and the will of God are with you and you can count on yor Circle of Prayer widening out to California. Take care , Cousin Rich Mueller
