This Week's Update

Dad attended church this weekend, sitting on the front row to enjoy the services.  He is still weak and moves slowly as a result.  His voice is strong when I speak with him and I'm proud of him for not trying to jump back into the fray with both feet.

On Wednesday, he will have a PET Scan to determine how much cancer is left in his body.  Based on the results, the oncologist will recommend a treatment regime of chemotherapy.  We are praying that the Scan comes back negative and that he is cancer-free.

Thank you for your continued prayers for Dad and Mom.  There are still many items that need to be resolved and the Lord is in control!

  1. Checkin' every day. You know, there are other ways to get attention. A toupé perhaps! Just kidding.
Once again, thanks to the kids for this blog. The phone companies don't like blogs but they sure are ear-savers!!!

Love and blessings to you and yours,

  3. We are praying for you and the family. I am a firm believer that the Lord directs our paths, even the dark and shadow places. You (Bro. MeGarvey) are a child of the King. You are his son. May the Lord bring you comfort in the night, strength for the journey, peace in your heart. We (Bill & I)are standing together in prayer with the family and friends for the will of the Lord to be done. We love you.
